Environmental Hardscapes was created in 2020 as a related business to the Gundrum Group, to address the growing need for landscape services that compliment quality built form projects.  

The team bring together 20 years of combined experience in the construction and landscape architecture fields and are able to provide comprehensive design and professional construction management services for your built environment.

Shannon Gundrum

Shannon Gundrum is the Director of Environmental Hardscapes and is a registered builder in Queensland and New South Wales with a history in construction of architectural homes and extensions, medium & high-rise construction, and residential & commercial renovations.  Along with trusted and reliable industry professionals, Shannon brings an accomplished history of project management, coordinating and delivering projects free of stress.    

Samuel Long

Samuel Long is a Registered member of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects.  Sam brings with him a Bachelor of Built Environment, a Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture and 20 years of experience in designing and administering developments in the commercial and residential sectors.  Capping this off with a Diploma of Horticulture, Sam’s expertise in the natural environment and plant selection ensures both functional and thriving design from start to finish.
